Homemade Green Pesto

I love Pesto, it goes in everything so what better than to make my own homemade version. All it takes is to throw all the ingredients into a blender and you have it for instant use. Try this one and watch out for future recipes which take advantage of this pesto in the recipe.

Ingredients
1 garlic clove
50g pine nuts
35g of fresh basil
5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Juice of one medium lemon
15g of Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

So easy, all you do is throw it in a blender and blend until as smooth as you want it. I like to add the parmesan in small chunks so it gets completely blended in, then when you cook with it the cheese all melts and makes this a gooey and delicious sauce.
