Mel's skills are wide ranging. Project manager, events coordinator, business analyst and most recently, nutritional therapist, dance fitness instructor, yoga and meditation teacher. 200YTT completed and currently enlisted on a 500YTT course with Yoga Medicine. Check out just some of his skills below.

MEDITATION

Meditation and mindfulness are fantastic. Practicing himself daily has made such a positive change to his life that it is something he is honoured to bring to others.

Strong, slow and playful flow is how Mel likes to both practice and teach. If you want to challenge yourself and surprise yourself with what might be possible, give it a go.

Having done martial arts in his younger years, the combination of combining martial arts with yoga was just too tempting to resist. Trained under Cameron and Melayne Shayne, he has loved this experience and can't wait to share.

PRIMAL MOVEMENT

This is where Mel's inner child gets to play. Copying and mimicking the movements of animals in the natural world and learning from them has changed Mel's practice in incredible ways.

DANCE FITNESS

The part that started his entire journey, the dance fitness. Starting as Zumba and expanding into more of a street dance and Zumba style with lots of chart hits. Mel's classes are incredibly sweaty but there are sing-a-longs and so many laughs and giggles that you can't help but love being part of this crowd.

SKINCARE

Surprising as it may sound, Mel's healthy lifestyle has extended to his skin too. He is a proud ambassador of the incredible beauty range, Tropic. The products are all gluten free, animal cruelty free, vegan and paraben free. He proudly shares the knowledge he's picked up.
